The world of Valorant esports is set to witness an exhilarating international event, Valorant Convergence 2023, from December 14th to 17th in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

This tournament, hosted by Riot Games in partnership with The Esports Club, marks a significant milestone in Valorant’s global esports journey, with a special focus on showcasing the burgeoning gaming culture in India.

Convergence 2023 stands out as Riot Games’ first official international Valorant tournament in India, a testament to the country’s growing significance in the esports landscape.

This landmark event, boasting a $50,000 USD prize pool, will take place at the Manpho Convention Centre, offering an action-packed experience for fans and players alike.

Convergence 2023 will feature six teams, including four international invites and two teams from India, battling it out in front of a live audience:

  • FURIA Esports (Brazil | VCT Americas)
  • FUT Esports (Turkey | VCT EMEA)
  • Team Vitality (France | VCT EMEA)
  • Gen.G Esports (South Korea | VCT Pacific)
  • Global Esports (India | VCT Pacific)
  • True Rippers (India | India Qualifier)

Schedule and Format:

The tournament is split into two stages: the Group Stage from December 14th to 16th and the Grand Final on December 17th. The Group Stage will see teams divided into two groups, competing in best-of-three series. The top team from each group will advance to a best-of-five Grand Final, where the champion will be crowned.
