The organization has snapped up the former Team SoloMid (TSM) roster, a move that sets the stage for an enthralling chapter in esports history. The TSM roster, having parted ways with its previous banner on December 5th, was on course to return as Team Undying. However, destiny had a different plan, as they will now don the Tundra Esports colors, starting their journey on December 11th at 5:15 pm SGT.
Meet the New Tundra Titans
The rebranded squad, comprising Enzo “Timado” Gianoli, Jonathan “Bryle” Santos, Ilyas “kasane” Gainullin, Aleksandr “Immersion” Khmelevskoi, and Matthew “Whitemon” Filemon, brings a fresh zeal to Tundra Esports. Guiding this talented ensemble is the experienced coach David “MoonMeander” Tan, a constant figure since the team’s inception as Undying.
Tundra’s decision comes at a time of significant shifts in the Dota 2 landscape.
Post TI12, prominent players like Oliver “skiter” Lepko and Jingjun “Sneyking” Wu have joined Team Falcons. Neta “33” Shapira is now with Team Liquid, and Leon “Nine” Kirilin is currently a free agent. Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen remains on OG’s inactive roster.
Tundra’s maiden challenge will be against the joint force of G2.iG, followed by matches with 9Pandas and the Chinese powerhouse, LGD Gaming. These initial matchups are more than just games; they are Tundra’s opportunity to prove their mettle and synergy as a unit.
