Topson’s decision to retire comes at the back of a TI 2024 (TI13) third-place finish with Tundra Esports. The timing took many fans by surprise, especially since Tundra was nothing short of spectacular during the show.
With this retirement announcement, Tundra Esports is also bidding farewell to their skilled mid-laner, who contributed to the team’s TI13 top-three finish.
Most people anticipated that Tundra would perform well in the tournament and that Topson would become the first player to win TI three times. Together with his team, he defeated giants such as Xtreme Gaming and Team Falcons, which showed that they are for real. However, their impressive streak came to an end when they were outplayed by Gaimin Gladiators, who sent Tundra packing out of the tournament.
