Thunderpick World Championship 2024: Teams and Location Announced

Thunderpick has finally released the official information regarding the Thunderpick World Championship 2024, including the city where it will be held, the time frame, and the teams that will be participating. This year’s event will feature 16 of the best CS2 teams from across the globe who will compete in Berlin, Germany to get their hands on the $1,000,000 prize money.

Thunderpick World Championship 2024 to be Held in Berlin

The Thunderpick World Championship 2024 is scheduled to commence on the 21st of October with the Online Group Stage that will run up to the 25th of October. The tension rises even higher as the Quarter-Finals are scheduled for October 26th. Following a short pause, the climax of the competition is the LAN Finals, taking place over two days beginning on November 2nd in Berlin. This final showdown will be an exciting conclusion to a tournament that started with regional qualifiers back in April.

First Teams Confirmed for Thunderpick WC 2024

During the announcement, Thunderpick also unveiled the first ten teams that will be participating in the tournament, having qualified through the regional rounds. Here’s the lineup so far:

  • BLEED (EU Qualifier 1)
  • Cloud9 (EU Qualifier 2)
  • Imperial (SA Qualifier 1)
  • BESTIA (SA Qualifier 2)

  • Legacy (NA Qualifier 2)

Given such a rich list of the best players, this tournament is going to be a real battle of champions. This year’s tournament will not have the defending champions, FaZe Clan, which means that a new team will be crowned the 2024 Thunderpick World Champion.
