Team Vitality, the prominent French esports organization, is making waves in the esports scene with their innovative fan activation concept called the V.BOAT.
This floating activation space, which is actually a boat, will be featured during the BLAST CS:GO Major in Paris.
The V.BOAT offers an array of exciting fan activities, including opportunities to play against the organization’s professional players, engage in content creation, and participate in viewing parties for the tournament. This unique fan experience will be available on the 20th and 21st of May, coinciding with the BLAST CS:GO Major.
Adding to the allure, Team Vitality plans to transport fans to the Accor arena along the picturesque river Seine, adorned in the organization’s signature black and orange colors. The river journey promises stunning views of iconic Paris landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the bateaux mouches.
Team Vitality’s CS:GO roster has already achieved success this year, securing a victory at IEM Rio. Competing as ‘Legends’ in the Major, the team’s strong performance in the previous tournament places them in a favorable position to advance further.
In addition to the CS:GO players and fans, Team Vitality’s Rocket League roster will join the festivities aboard the V.BOAT, aiming to revolutionize the game and offer an unprecedented experience. However, it remains unclear whether boats will be integrated into the actual Rocket League gameplay.
Team Vitality has been actively engaging with their fanbase through various activations throughout the year. They kicked off 2023 with a partnership with stream management brand Streamcoi, followed by the renewal of their collaboration with JBL Quantum. In April, they announced a two-year partnership with CHERRY XTRFY, further solidifying their presence in the esports industry.
Nicolas Maurer, CEO of Team Vitality, expressed his excitement about the V.BOAT activation, stating, “Being the first time the CS:GO Major is held in our home city, we wanted to make a significant impact. Our dedicated boat on the Seine not only pays homage to our Parisian roots but also provides our fans with a unique experience they will cherish for years to come. For the first time, they will have the opportunity to test their skills against a professional player, and not just any player, but ZywOo. We hope our team will proudly represent our French colors throughout the competition and deliver a memorable show for our fans!”
