Team Vitality, a prominent French esports organization, has entered into a two-year partnership with hardware brand CHERRY XTRFY. As part of the agreement, CHERRY XTRFY will supply its products to Team Vitality’s headquarters, players, and support the organization’s international expansion.
The collaboration will include Cherry Xtrfy branding on Team Vitality jerseys and special activations for fans. CHERRY XTRFY was established following the acquisition of Swedish esports-focused peripherals brand Xtrfy by German mechanical keyboard switches and keyboards manufacturer Cherry. The merger was completed in late 2022.
Cherry, one of the world’s oldest keyboard brands, created its first keyboard in 1973 and is considered a pioneer in mechanical keyboard design. The partnership will primarily concentrate on Team Vitality’s CS:GO team and supply equipment to the organization’s three main locations: its Paris headquarters, Berlin performance center, and Stade de France.
In the future, the two companies plan to develop co-branded products targeting esports and gaming enthusiasts, although no specific details were provided. CHERRY XTRFY joins Team Vitality’s extensive list of partners, which includes JBL Quantum, Kingston FURY, Philips, Hummel, and more.
Team Vitality CEO Nicolas Maurer expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We know that this brand is a reference for quality and performance within an ever-changing industry.”
He added that CHERRY XTRFY would play a central role in Team Vitality’s 10th-anniversary celebrations and benefit from the organization’s presence in major international competitions.
