In a bold move reshaping its Dota 2 lineup, Team Secret has unveiled significant roster changes ahead of the 2024 competitive season.

The team bids farewell to its seasoned midlaner, Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng, and position four player, Daniyal “yamich” Lazebnyy, introducing fresh faces Teng “Kordan” Tjin Yao and Marcel “Ekki” Hołowienko.

MidOne’s departure marks the end of a brief but impactful tenure.

Rejoining Team Secret in November 2023, he was pivotal in their surprising qualification and 7th-8th finish at ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. Despite the team’s initial success, MidOne’s stint lasted just two months before stepping down.

Daniyal “yamich” Lazebnyy, who battled alongside Team Secret throughout 2023, now joins the inactive list. His season, marred by challenges and underperformance, leaves a void filled by up-and-coming talents.

Rising Stars Join the Fray

  • Kordan, a Singaporean midlane prodigy, caught the esports world’s attention with his stint in Bleed Esports. Despite the team’s uneven performance, Kordan’s skill shone through, particularly in their qualification for the Bali Major.
