Team Liquid promotes Reignover to head coach for 2023 LCS Summer Split

Team Liquid has announced that former assistant coach Reignover will step into the head coaching role for the LCS team for the second half of the 2023 season.

Reignover had served as an assistant coach for Liquid in the first half of the 2023 season and was previously the head coach of Cloud9 in 2021. He was also a player for Liquid in the 2017 LCS season.

The team’s previous head coach, MaRin, parted ways with Liquid less than a month ago.

Reignover will be working with Liquid’s general manager, Dodo, who is stepping back into an assistant coach role. Liquid confirmed that no changes will be made to the team’s starting LCS lineup for the Summer Split.

The Summer Split will begin on June 1.
