Snax guides G2 to triumph at BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024

Snax guides G2 to triumph at BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024

In a scene that would be reminiscent of a previous season, Snax has lifted yet another S-Tier LAN trophy, this time with G2. The BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 saw G2 breaking their nine-match losing streak against NAVI with a 3:1 victory, just at the right time for the homestretch of the season. The victory was quite commanding and placed G2 as one of the favorites going into the final stretch of the competitive year.

Snax leads G2 to their second title of 2024

While G2 are the team that has won the tournament, it is IGL Snax who is in the center of attention. The Polish legend, who many thought was past his prime, has been heavily criticized since joining G2. However, when people started to doubt him, Snax was able to silence them in the best way possible: by winning the BLAST Premier Fall Final and his first LAN title since ESL One New York 2018.

However, the focus is not only on Snax, as it is with many other companies. It was a memorable day for malbsMd, who was the first Guatemalan to win a Counter-Strike trophy. The 21-year-old rifler shocked everyone with a 67-54 scoreline across the four maps, and made NAVI look like a different team. His breakout performance has the CS2 community talking and it will be interesting to see how malbsMd develops in the years to come.

Is NiKo and m0NESY the Best AWP Duo in CS2?

This series was far from being a piece of cake. All four maps were very close and the game was on the edge for both G2 and NAVI. At such times, it is the star players who make the difference and for G2, NiKo and m0NESY were the shining stars. Both players were on top of their game, which is why they are considered the most lethal pair in Counter-Strike at the moment; m0NESY was especially impressive, ending the series with a score of 77-48.

However, NAVI’s w0nderful and iM failed to do so when it was needed most, scoring 51-58 and 56-61 respectively. As good as their performance was throughout the tournament, the Grand Final was a good example of how individual talent can sometimes overpower good teamwork.

Is NAVI Running on Empty?

At the beginning of CS2, FaZe Clan had the same trend – reaching the finals of almost every tournament but then getting tired. NAVI appears to be on a similar trajectory, having made it to five consecutive Finals. Their consistency is praiseworthy but it can be seen that the players are struggling with fatigue as evidenced by their match against G2.
