The North American team drew attention as they announced significant role alterations within their roster during the match.

Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, undoubtedly the star performer, resumed his favored Jett duelist position after previously playing KAY/O and Sage at VCT LOCK//IN.

Simultaneously, the team’s Brazilian pair, Bryan “pANcada” Luna and Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi, demonstrated their extensive agent pool in their second VCT match with Sentinels.

Victory in VCT Americas debut after Sentinels’ agent role changes
Sentinels’ latest international appearance was at VCT LOCK//IN, where they were unable to display their full potential following an early 2-0 loss to Fnatic, the tournament’s eventual winners.

Between VCT LOCK//IN and the Americas League, the North American squad reassessed their roles and made significant agent pool changes. TenZ, pANcada, and Sacy underwent major shifts, highlighting the team’s dedication to strategic adaptability.

TenZ began strong on Fracture, dominating as Jett on defense and landing multiple precision Operator shots. Sentinels outlasted 100 Thieves 13-11, with Zachary “zekken” Patrone’s Raze and TenZ’s Jett racking up 50 kills.

In the second map, Split, Sacy traded Sova’s bow and arrows for Sage’s wall and slows. Despite playing the sentinel agent only four times in official matches before VCT Americas, Sacy gave an outstanding performance.

Recording a remarkable 23/16/9 KDA on Split, Sacy’s effort was not enough as 100 Thieves secured a 14-12 overtime victory.

The deciding map, Ascent, saw pANcada step up and deliver for Sentinels. As an established controller main, pANcada switched to the sentinel role and played a vital part in defense.

Trailing 4-8 at halftime, Sentinels made an incredible comeback on the attack, ultimately defeating their rivals 14-12 in overtime.

TenZ achieved an astonishing 68 kills across the three maps, earning him the title of highest frag count among all players in the match.
