Sentinels, the most-watched VALORANT team in the VCT Americas, may not make it to the playoffs this season.
Despite a challenging start to the year, including releasing their coach and relying on a substitute for star player Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, Sentinels have set the viewership standard across VCT, with all three of the top-watched matches featuring the team.
Their recent matchup against LOUD drew over 500,000 viewers, with almost half tuning in from Brazilian/Portuguese streams. The Sentinels vs. LOUD match was one of great interest to Brazil, as reigning world champions Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi and Bryan “pANcada” Luna took on their former teammates on LOUD for the first time ever.
Sentinels currently have a 1-3 record in the middle of the VCT Americas super week, and to reach the playoffs, they must win out and receive help from other teams.
