In the midst of VCT EMEA’s regular season, Karmine Corp (KC) announced a roster change, with Alexis “Newzera” Humbert stepping down from the team.
Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom, the team captain, opened up about the team’s internal struggles and the need for support during this challenging period.
ScreaM compared Newzera’s departure to a previous experience he had with Team Liquid when a teammate left during a competition. He emphasized that when a team member doesn’t fully commit, the entire team suffers. Karmine Corp has been struggling in VCT EMEA, facing crushing defeats to Team Heretics, Team Liquid, and Team Vitality, with a record of 78 rounds lost to only 22 won in their last three matches.
At the time of writing, Karmine Corp holds 8th place in the VCT EMEA standings, with a 1-3 record and five matches remaining in the regular season.
The current Karmine Corp Valorant roster includes Nabil “Nivera” Benrlitom, Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom, Ryad “Shin” Ensaad, Alexandre “xms” Forté, Ahmed “ZE1SH” El Sheikh, and Arthur “pm” Guillermet as coach.
As KC faces ongoing challenges and roster changes, the team’s resilience and ScreaM’s willingness to adapt will be crucial in their pursuit of success in the VCT EMEA competition.
