Riot Games has teamed up with theatrical distribution company Piece of Magic Entertainment to organize viewing parties for the LEC Spring, Summer, and Season Finals in cinemas across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The 2023 Spring, Summer, and Season Finals will be live broadcast from various cinemas in the region, with a full list of confirmed cinemas for the Spring Finals available at lolincinemas.com. More countries and locations will be added for the Summer and Season Finals in due course.
Berlin, Germany, will host viewing parties for the Spring and Summer Finals, while Montpellier, France, will host the Season Final. The Spring Final cinema debut is set for April 23rd. The screenings will take place in up to 70 territories throughout the EMEA region, and Riot Games plans to host ticket giveaways before each final.
This partnership is not the first time Riot Games and Piece of Magic Entertainment have collaborated. The companies joined forces in 2021 to showcase the League of Legends World Championship in cinemas, followed by a collaboration with Lexis Partners for the Worlds 2022 finals.
