CONV/RGENCE: A League of Legends Story is one of the three games set to be released by Riot Forge in 2023.
Riot Forge is a third-party publisher within Riot Games and has published two major games set in the League of Legends universe – Ruined King and Hextech Mayhem. Developed by Double Stallion, the game was revealed in 2020 but was delayed by a year for more polishing and bug-fixing.
CONV/RGENCE is an action-platformer set in the world of Runeterra, where players join Ekko on a mission to save Zaun from destruction in the near future. Players will be able to explore both Zaun and Piltover in this 2D platformer, where Ekko will meet both friends and foes, including familiar champions such as Jinx, Camille, and a grown-up version of himself.
Although the game is set in the League of Legends universe, it will be in a completely new art style and video game genre, making it a new experience for players. Riot Forge and Double Stallion hope to give players an exciting addition to the lore of the magical and mysterious universe of League.
