Red Bull Set to Launch World’s Largest Esports Venue in Denmark

Red Bull is preparing to open its largest esports and gaming venue, the Red Bull Gaming Sphere Aarhus, in Denmark on April 21st. As part of Tech City Aarhus, the facility will become the epicenter of Red Bull’s gaming and esports initiatives in Denmark and Northern Europe, serving as an event space, gaming center, tournament venue, and broadcasting studio. The Aarhus location will be the fourth Red Bull Gaming Sphere, joining venues in London, Tokyo, and Stockholm.

The Red Bull Gaming Sphere Aarhus will offer more than 160 PC gaming stations for experienced gamers and newcomers alike. In addition, the venue will boast an esports arena, a streaming room for content creators, a console area, Simracers, a boot camp room, and a Bytes takeaway restaurant.

In partnership with C4 Gaming, which has operated a gaming center in Aarhus since 2016, the Red Bull Gaming Sphere Aarhus plans to host at least 30 events per year. Events will range from watch parties, game releases, and signing sessions to meet’n’greets with Red Bull pro teams and players, as well as final events for major tournaments and leagues.

C4 Gaming CEO Hassan Abdirahman expressed excitement about the collaboration: “We are honored and proud that Red Bull has chosen to collaborate with us on their Red Bull Gaming Sphere concept in Denmark, and we look forward to being able to invite everyone to a premium gaming experience when we open the doors on April 21st.”

Red Bull has experienced an eventful year in Europe, announcing a partnership with Spanish esports organization Team Heretics and confirming the major UK Fortnite LAN event Red Bull Contested, scheduled for June 10th in Edinburgh, Scotland.
