PSG Esports extends Talon Esports partnership for another three years

PSG Esports, the esports division of the French multi-sport club Paris Saint-Germain, has extended its partnership with Hong Kong-based esports organization Talon Esports.

PSG Esports and Talon will work together for another three years on PSG Talon, an esports team that they jointly created in 2019.

PSG Esports began its esports project in 2016 and operates both as a standalone esports organization and as a series of partnerships with established esports brands. PSG partners with LGD for a Dota 2 team called PSG.LGD and works with Team New Age for its PSG.TNA team.

PSG Esports also operates its own teams, particularly in Arena of Valor, Rainbow Six: Siege, and FIFA 23. Most of PSG Esports’ teams have achieved success in their respective games, with PSG.LGD being the most prominent. The Dota 2 team has won the Riyadh Invitational in 2022 and has also placed in the top four at five separate editions of The International.

The PSG Talon team is the current titleholder in the Pacific Championship Series and is a strong competitor in its region. PSG Esports and Talon aim to focus on talent development and pursuing new commercial partnerships and content creation.

Head of Brand Development at Paris Saint-Germain, Nadia Benmokhtar, commented on the partnership, stating that they are thrilled to renew their partnership with Talon and continue their journey in League of Legends. Esports remains a core pillar of PSG’s brand diversification strategy, and this partnership will further strengthen its visibility in key markets and non-traditional football audiences globally. Talon Esports fields other teams that are not associated with PSG Esports, the most successful of which is its Talon Esports Dota 2 team.
