Pringles Joins Forces with NSE for British University Esports Championship Finals

National Student Esports (NSE), the governing body for student esports in the UK, has revealed a partnership with snack brand Pringles for the upcoming British University Esports Championship Finals. As the official partner of the event, Pringles will collaborate with NSE on various activations during the Insomnia Gaming Festival i70 in April and for several weeks afterward.

The British University Esports Championship is NSE’s flagship event and the UK’s largest student esports tournament. Over 100 university teams from across the UK participate in the championship each season, competing in various games. The upcoming finals will wrap up the Spring 2023 season, followed by the Winter season later this year.

The championship finals will be held at the Insomnia Gaming Festival in Birmingham, a major gaming event in the UK. Pringles and NSE will join forces to create unique challenges during the festival and showcase products in the event’s expo area.

While the duration of the partnership was not specified, both parties confirmed that it would extend beyond the event. Pringles will host gaming-related contests for several weeks after the University Esports Championship finals.

Beth Johnson, Pringles UK Senior Brand Activation Manager, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We believe in the power of gaming to bring people together and create memorable experiences.” Pringles has a history of involvement in esports, having previously partnered with Riot Games and G2 Esports, and regularly appearing at gaming events and tournaments.
