CS:GO Counter Strike

The Europe RMR qualifiers for the Perfect World Shanghai Major are soon to take place, where 32 of the best CS2 teams will compete for one of the 14 spots at the Major. This competition will feature great match-ups, spectacular performances, and high-risk strategies as the European teams seek to establish themselves on the international arena.

Tournament Format and Structure

The 32 participating teams have been divided into two groups, RMR A and RMR B, and both groups will compete using the Swiss-system. In this format, three match wins are required to qualify for the Perfect World Shanghai Major, while three losses mean elimination. In the event of ties after the main rounds, teams will play tie-breakers to determine qualification for the next round.

The first two games in each match are single games to expedite early rounds. However, once teams are in elimination or qualification matches, the format shifts to best-of-three (BO3) for a fairer outcome. Each RMR will qualify seven teams, allowing little room for error.

Key Teams to Watch

For CS2 fans, this tournament brings together a dream team of competitors. Top-tier teams such as Na’Vi, G2, Vitality, Spirit, and MOUZ are all competing for their place at the Major. With this lineup, the European RMR is set to be one of the most thrilling qualifiers to date.
