Peacemaker Leaves TeamOne on the Brink of BLAST.tv Paris Major Americas RMR

Peacemaker Exits TeamOne Just Before BLAST.tv Paris Major Americas RMR Event

Luis “peacemaker” Tadeu has parted ways with TeamOne just a day prior to the team’s participation in the BLAST.tv Paris Major Americas RMR. The 34-year-old Brazilian coach will not attend the event, with Alexandre “kakaveL” Peres, the organization’s CEO, stepping in as the team’s coach. It remains uncertain if he will be allowed to stand behind the team, as he is not listed as their coach in the lineups released by BLAST for the RMRs.

Peacemaker announced on Twitter that he had left TeamOne as of March 27 and was not involved in their RMR preparations. He also declared himself a free agent.

TeamOne had only signed peacemaker as their coach in early February, marking his first coaching position since parting ways with Imperial in August of the previous year. During his tenure with the team, they finished 5-6th in ESL Challenger League Season 43, narrowly missed qualifying for IEM Dallas, and successfully completed the closed qualifier for the upcoming Americas RMR.

Throughout his career, peacemaker has been somewhat of a nomad, coaching teams in North America, South America, and Europe, as well as a brief stint with TYLOO in 2017. His most significant coaching accomplishment occurred during his time with Liquid in 2016 when the North American team finished second at the ESL One Cologne 2016 Major, featuring Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev in the lineup.

TeamOne will once again face the challenge of finding a new coach, as they have had five different coaches since 2022. During this period, the team has struggled to make significant progress in international competition, with their sole appearance being a last-place finish at ESL Challenger Rotterdam. However, they have achieved moderate success domestically, such as finishing third in the ESL Challenger League Season 43 and placing top-four at Fragadelphia 16 and 17.

TeamOne roster includes:

  • Brazil Pedro “Maluk3” Campos
  • Brazil Matheus “pesadelo” Panisset
  • Brazil Alencar “trk” Rossato
  • Brazil Victor “iDk” Torraca
    Guatemala Mario “malbsMd” Samayoa
