NODWIN Gaming Acquires Majority Stake in Branded, Expanding Esports Reach

South Asian esports firm NODWIN Gaming’s Singaporean subsidiary has purchased a 51% stake in Singapore-based full-service live media company Branded. Although the terms of the deal were not disclosed, this acquisition adds Branded to NODWIN’s portfolio of brands, offering comprehensive gaming marketing and event solutions to major esports organizations.

NODWIN will gain all of Branded’s existing event series, including “All That Matters,” “It’s a Girl Thing,” and “CreatorWorld.” This acquisition will also enable NODWIN to broaden its network of sponsors and increase revenue. The companies plan to co-create new intellectual properties in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond while focusing on expanding NODWIN’s existing events in the Middle East.

Branded, which specializes in event hosting and management, has developed various media-focused Asian event series under the “All That Matters” banner, encompassing art, gaming, marketing, and more. The company has separate properties targeting female professionals and an event platform for young influencers. Branded’s “Music Matters” series has attracted attendees from prominent companies such as Spotify, Universal, and TikTok.

The acquisition of Branded, which has collaborated with major esports companies like Activision Blizzard, ESL, and Red Bull, is expected to be beneficial as the industry increasingly adopts hybrid events that combine physical and digital experiences.
