NKT Announces Roster Revamp with Gratisfaction Addition

Thai organization NKT has officially introduced a restructured lineup, which includes the recruitment of Sean “Gratisfaction” Kaiwai and Enkhbat “xerolte” Munkhtogtokh.

In conjunction with these changes, Munkhbold “Senzu” Azbayar and Yesuntumur “nin9” Gantulga have been placed on the transfer list, and coach Enkhtaivan “Machinegun” Lkhagva has been let go.

NKT’s roster shake-up follows a series of disappointing results at the beginning of the year. They underperformed in the Perfect World Arena Premier League and failed to qualify for IEM Rio. Despite winning MESA League Season 3, the top Asian teams were not present, and NKT struggled to qualify for the BLAST Paris Major Asia RMR, BLAST Spring Showdown, and ESL Challenger Melbourne. Consequently, the team’s world ranking has slipped to No. 133.

In an effort to improve, NKT has replaced nin9, a former TheMongolz player, and recent addition Senzu with Gratisfaction and xerolte. Gratisfaction is renowned for his time on Renegades, 100 Thieves, and EXTREMUM, where he reached the top four at the StarLadder Major Berlin and placed second at IEM Beijing. Xerolte, a 19-year-old player, has previously played for D13 and Renewal and boasts an impressive 1.10 rating for the year.

NKT’s current lineup consists of:

  • Hansel “BnTeT” Ferdinand
  • Hyun-Pyo “XigN” Lee
  • Erdenetsogt “erkaSt” Gantulga
  • Sean “Gratisfaction” Kaiwai
  • Enkhbat “xerolte” Munkhtogtokh

Transfer-listed players:

  • Yesuntumur “nin9” Gantulga
  • Munkhbold “Senzu” Azbayar
