Neymar Jr and Fans Alike Desperate for Access to Counter-Strike 2 Beta

The anticipation for Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) is at an all-time high, with everyone eagerly awaiting the official release of the game in the Summer of 2023. However, Valve recently announced that they were conducting a limited testing phase of the beta version, and only a select few received access to it. Even Neymar Jr, the soccer superstar, is desperate to get his hands on it.

On March 22, the day of the official announcement, Valve started rewarding beta access continuously, but many people have reported not receiving it yet, including Neymar Jr. Known for playing CS:GO himself, he has even played alongside top professionals like shox and ZywOo on his stream.

Neymar Jr took to Twitter, writing, “Send the CS2, I never asked you for anything,” showing his eagerness to be part of the limited testing phase.

As of now, only a few players, such as s1mple and EliGE, and renowned streamers and community figures, like Pimp and fl0m, have received access to the beta. Valve has stated that they will be taking various factors into consideration when granting beta access, including the number of hours played on CS:GO in recent months. Nonetheless, players have reported invites coming on a random basis.

Although the exact date of the release remains unknown, the excitement for the upcoming game continues to grow as the limited testing phase of the beta version progresses.
