This prestigious tournament will feature 64 elite players from the APAC, Americas, and EMEA regions, all converging in a no-holds-barred competition. The other sixty-three participants have either triumphed in Seasonal tournaments, qualified through Worlds Qualifier tournaments, topped the Runeterra Points race, or emerged victorious in the Last Chance Qualifier.

Tournament Structure and Schedule

The tournament is structured into three phases over three days, each consisting of seven rounds. The first day will follow a Swiss format, with matches starting at 7:00 a.m. PST and concluding around 2:00 p.m. PST. The second day adopts a double elimination format to narrow down to the top eight, while the third day will see the culmination of the competition and the crowning of the new LoR World Champion.

Deck Rules and Match Format

Competitors will bring three unique decks adhering to the “Riot Lock” rules, ensuring diverse region combinations and champion use. The match format includes a ban phase, where each player eliminates one of their opponent’s decks, and the goal is to secure two victories with different decks.

With a whopping $140,000 USD prize pool, the stakes are sky-high.

The champion will take home $30,000 USD, and the runner-up $12,000 USD, with the rest distributed among other competitors based on their performance. Additionally, the winner and runner-up earn the exclusive opportunity to design a new card with LoR’s Designers – a follower for the champion and a spell for the runner-up.
