Liiv SANDBOX Adds Veteran Korean ADC Teddy to LCK Roster Following Hiatus

Following a five-month hiatus, veteran Korean AD Carry Park “Teddy” Jin-seong has been signed by Liiv SANDBOX, replacing Lee “Envyy” Myeong-joon on the team’s LCK roster.

Teddy, 25, is best known for his three LCK trophies and two international tournament appearances with T1 during his three-year tenure there.

Once considered one of the LCK’s top AD carries, Teddy was replaced by Gumayusi in mid-2021 while on T1 (previously known as SK Telecom T1). Following that, he played for Afreeca Freecs and Kwangdong Freecs but only managed to qualify for the LCK playoffs once.

After becoming a free agent in the last offseason, Teddy now rejoins the competition with Liiv SANDBOX. The team placed sixth in the regular season of the 2023 LCK Spring Split and was eliminated in the first playoff round by KT Rolster. Given these results, it’s no surprise that Liiv SANDBOX sought changes in its main League of Legends roster.

ImageCompared to other AD carries from the five playoff teams, Envyy had the lowest KDA, finishing the 2023 LCK Spring Split’s regular season with a 3.2 KDA, according to Oracle’s Elixir. Teddy and Liiv SANDBOX will make their return to the competition at the start of the 2023 LCK Summer Split.
