Lefitan and Team HYDRA Split Following Cheating and Match-Fixing Accusations

Team HYDRA, currently participating in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Eastern Europe (EEU) 2023 Tour 2: Division I, has revealed its decision to sever ties with player Anatoly “Lefitan” Krupnov. Lefitan has recently been embroiled in allegations of cheating and match-fixing, though specific reasons for his departure have not been disclosed.

Is Lefitan just the first of many players facing expulsion?
The move to part ways with Lefitan comes shortly after various claims of cheating and match-fixing involving the player, with Morf’s video implicating multiple teams and players acting as the final straw. The video alleged that two HYDRA players, Lefitan and Siarhey “HappyDyurara” Kharonzhy, were connected to a match-fixing group.

Moreover, Lefitan faced cheating accusations in the EEU DPC. At present, he is the only one removed from the team.

Before Morf’s video release on YouTube, Team HYDRA’s manager and other personalities defended Lefitan against the initial cheating allegations.

Lefitan’s departure from Team HYDRA marks a significant development in the ongoing match-fixing and cheating controversies within the Dota 2 community. As several other teams and players face similar accusations, this announcement might be the first of many in the coming days.
