Kyedae Shymko, popular Twitch and Valorant streamer and 100 Thieves content creator, has withdrawn from the upcoming CONQuest Festival 2023 due to ongoing health issues.
The Filipino gaming community was saddened by the news, as Kyedae announced in March that she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), a type of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow.
On her Facebook page on May 5, Kyedae informed her Filipino fans about her withdrawal from the event. She explained that she needs to prioritize her health and stated that she will not be able to attend the festival this year. She expressed her disappointment at not being able to meet her friends, colleagues, and fans and added that she hopes to return in the future healthier and stronger than ever.
Kyedae promised to return for CONQuest Festival 2023 last year, where she watched the Alliance Games finals, participated in an influencer Valorant showmatch, and hosted a meet-and-greet with her fans. She even mentioned on Twitter that she would bring her fiance, Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, a Valorant superstar.
