European esports organization KOI has announced the extension of its partnership with ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG), the gaming arm of Taiwanese hardware brand ASUS.
The renewed partnership, set to last for a minimum of two more years, will continue to provide KOI’s players and content creators with PCs and laptops. The jerseys of KOI and London Royal Ravens will also feature ASUS ROG branding, and the two brands have plans for new content and activations.
The partnership initially began between ASUS ROG and Rogue, an esports organization that later entered a strategic partnership with KOI and adopted the Rogue name. Both KOI and ASUS have seen positive engagement and high-quality activations as a result of the partnership, leading to its expansion.
KOI, co-owned by renowned streamer Ibai Lanos and former FC Barcelona player Gerard Piqué, competes in popular games such as League of Legends, FIFA, Rocket League, and VALORANT. Notably, KOI has secured slots in both the LEC and VCT, the franchised leagues for League of Legends and VALORANT by Riot Games.
ASUS ROG has established itself as a prominent esports partner, having secured deals with organizations like ESL, NRG, the Saudi Esports Federation, and Misfits Gaming Group in the past. The brand is well-known for its PC components, including motherboards, peripherals, pre-built PCs, and gaming laptops.
The extended partnership with ASUS ROG will bring forth exciting content initiatives and influencer activations, although specific details regarding these initiatives have not been disclosed.
Anna Baumann, EVP at KOI esports, expressed confidence in the partnership, stating, “With the support of ROG’s highest performing PCs and laptops, we’re confident that we’ll be able to maintain our competitive success and provide our fans with even more exciting content initiatives and influencer activations.”
