Crucial Observations from the Official Paris Major RMR Team Lineups
BLAST has unveiled the team lineups for the upcoming BLAST.tv Paris Major RMR events, which are set to begin on April 6 with Asia, Europe A, and the Americas, and conclude with Europe B and the Europe last chance qualifier on April 15.
While there are no unexpected changes in the active lineups, some substitutes and coaches are worth mentioning. According to the rulebook, teams could submit both a coach and a substitute, with the coach acting as the team’s substitute if a separate one was not submitted. Teams are permitted to swap in their substitute once during the tournaments, either using that player for the remainder of the event or returning to their core lineup.
00NATION lists Epitacio “TACO” de Melo as part of their main roster, with Leonardo “n9xtz” Santos as the substitute. TACO will not participate in the tournament, and n9xtz will play instead.
Astralis has listed Kasper Hvidt, their Director of Sports, as their coach. This is because Peter “casle” Ardenskjold, their usual coach, and Nicolai “HUNDEN” Petersen, their analyst, are both currently banned from Majors until after the PGL CS2 Copenhagen Major in 2024. Valve banned both for five Majors due to the use of the spectator bug.
