Indus is scheduled for release later this year and could potentially fill the void left by Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and Free Fire. With rumors about BGMI circulating and teams investing in new rosters, Indus may face competition from Krafton’s title in the future.

Indus holds two key advantages: it is a multiplatform game available on console and PC, unlike BGMI, which is exclusively for mobile devices; and its made-in-India branding could resonate with Indian players who feel a connection to a game that represents their country’s culture.

An official release date has not been announced, but more information is expected in the coming months.
