Heineken 0.0 Becomes Official Beer Sponsor of VCT Americas

Riot Games has revealed that non-alcoholic beer brand Heineken 0.0 will sponsor the forthcoming VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Americas. As the official beer partner for VCT Americas, Heineken 0.0 will be the presenting sponsor of the VALORANT Icebox map during the event’s live streams.

Heineken 0.0’s branding will be prominently featured during the map selection process, in-game action, and throughout the VCT Americas broadcast. This partnership builds upon Heineken 0.0’s existing sponsorship of the Brazilian League of Legends competition, CBLOL.

VCT Americas announced a monitor partnership with ZOWIE earlier this month, and it has also partnered with brands like Red Bull, Aim Lab, Secretlab, and Verizon. The inaugural season of VCT Americas, part of VALORANT’s revamped 2023 esports ecosystem, is set to begin on April 1st.

The league comprises ten leading esports organizations from LATAM, Brazil, and North America that applied to join the VCT partner program. VCT Pacific and VCT EMEA are the two other international leagues in the VALORANT Champions Tour.

Riot Games stated that fans can anticipate similar Heineken 0.0 activations as those seen during the CBLOL 2022 season, such as the League of Legends-themed halftime show presented by Heineken 0.0 and CBLOL at the competition’s final. Riot Games has previously partnered with beer brands, such as the 2020 deal between the LCS, its North American League of Legends competition, and Bud Light.
