GodLike Esports Enlists Paradox and Blackhawk as Stand-Ins for VCL 2023 South Asia Opener Against MLT Esports

GodLike Esports, one of India’s premier organizations, will field a partially complete roster in its debut match against MLT Esports in the Valorant Champions League (VCL) 2023 South Asia. The organization’s Filipino players, Franz “Astro” del Rosario and Jude Patrick “Zey” Gunhuran, are unable to play due to unforeseen immigration issues.

ImageTo bolster its lineup, GodLike has recruited Paradox and Blackhawk, two Indian players from Revenant Esports, for the first match. While this setback may seem detrimental to GodLike’s chances, the team remains optimistic about its prospects and believes it has a deep enough roster to contend for a victory.

MLT Esports, on the other hand, will be eager to secure its first win in the tournament, having lost its previous match to True Rippers Esports. This match provides a great opportunity for the Bangladesh-based team to gain momentum in the VCL.

Paradox is a skilled player who has competed for teams such as True Rippers, Team Valor, and Revenant Esports. Blackhawk, on the other hand, brings valuable experience from his stints with teams like Samurai Esports, Team XO, M42 Esports, and Revenant Esports.

Although not ideal, GodLike’s lineup still boasts considerable firepower and teamwork will be crucial in determining their success. Paradox and Blackhawk are en route to Delhi, where the offline studio event is taking place, while Astro is traveling from the Philippines to Malaysia before catching a flight to India. No information is currently available about Zey.
