Gaimin Gladiators have become the fourth team in Dota 2 history to win two back-to-back Major titles after triumphing over Team Liquid in the Berlin Major finals.
GG showed their unparalleled skill, securing their second consecutive Major title, even after one of the most significant balance updates, 7.33.
GG was well prepared with their comfort picks like Keeper of the Light and Pangolier. Liquid put on a stronger performance than their previous encounter in the Lima Major finals, but GG eventually won 3-1 with Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov’s consistent and solid core performances, solidifying their lead in most of the series.
With this win, GG has secured their spot at The International 2023 unless they make significant roster changes. Liquid has also secured their seat at TI12 due to their impressive results in the regional Dota Pro Circuit.
