Fnatic Adds Crashies to VALORANT Team While Leo Heals

Fnatic has officially added Austin “Crashies” Roberts to its VALORANT team for the 2025 VALORANT Champions Tour, the team announced on Wednesday, December 11.

Crashies has caused waves in the VALORANT community, shocking fans of Fnatic and the eSports world. Some fans expected Leo “Leo” Jannesson to return to the roster after he had been battling with his health issues for some time. However, as per Fnatic’s team director Colin “CoJo” Johnson, Leo still needs time to recover.

“Leo is still a member of Fnatic,” CoJo continued, “but it is very difficult to say when he will return.” Until Leo is ready to come back into the fold, Crashies will do their best to cover for him and be a part of the team.

Crashies: A Proven Veteran

Crashies is not a new concept to the large platform. Currently recognized as one of the best VALORANT players in North America, the 26-year-old will step into the EMEA region for the first time in his career. He has a successful record of achievements, including winning the championship with Envy/OpTic Gaming and playing with other famous players such as Pujan “FNS” Mehta and Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker. More recently, Crashies demonstrated his abilities with NRG, which made him famous for his game-changing plays and captaincy.

CoJo thanked Crashies for his veteran skills, especially his ‘leadership and mid-rounding skills’ which could be useful for Fnatic in the future.

Fnatic’s 2025 Roster: A Combination of Experienced and Young Workers

As of 2025, Fnatic is expected to have the following players:

• Kajetan “kaajak” Haremski

Fnatic made major roster changes in the earlier part of this year, adding kaajak and 16-year-old talent Ștefan “Sayonara” Mîtcu in October after Derke left for Vitality. Since Sayonara is still young, kaajak will now join the starting five for now, which will complement the team with experienced players like Boaster and Chronicle and young talents like Alfajer and kaajak.

The Debut Match

Audiences will not have to wait long to see Crashies in action. His first match under the Fnatic banner is scheduled for this Saturday, December 14, at the Riot Games ONE PRO INVITATIONAL in Yokohama, Japan, where Fnatic will take on ZETA DIVISION.
