EMEA Challengers Ascension 2023 Play-Ins and Format Unveiled

Riot Games has revealed the format and schedule for the Challengers Ascension EMEA 2023 Play-Ins. This highly anticipated VALORANT tournament will feature the top teams from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) competing for a chance to advance to the main event.

The Play-Ins stage will include twelve teams divided into four groups of three. A double-elimination bracket format will be employed, with each group’s top two teams securing their spots in the main event. The Play-Ins are set to take place from May 2nd to May 7th.

The main event will feature a total of sixteen teams, including the eight that advanced from the Play-Ins. These teams will be divided into four groups of four and will compete in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the single-elimination playoffs. The main event is scheduled to run from May 9th to May 21st.

With the EMEA region gaining prominence in the VALORANT esports scene, the Challengers Ascension 2023 is poised to showcase the region’s top talent and offer thrilling matches for fans. The competition promises to deliver intense gameplay as teams vie for the chance to be crowned the EMEA champion.
