Dota 2’s Crownfall Act IV Has Arrived – Event Extended Until January

The wait is over—Crownfall Act IV is here in Dota 2 and brings with it a new map, a new hero named Kez, and much more. Valve has decided to prolong the event until January, so players have more time to enjoy it.

Act IV was released on October 7 and it has three main quests, three side quests, and mini-games. Players can now challenge Queen Imperia for the opportunity to get new styles for the Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit Arcanas.

Crownfall Act IV: What’s New?

New Hero: Kez

The new hero is Kez, a bird samurai who will fight for the freedom of Skywrath from the clutches of Queen Imperia. Kez has nine abilities and two forms of combat that can be changed during the fight, providing players with new opportunities to develop their skills.

A Massive Overworld Map

The main feature of Act IV is the map, which is the largest in Crownfall so far. The map provides three primary quest lines for Dragonus (Skywrath Mage), Shendelzare (Vengeful Spirit), and Kez. Players progress through each path by playing Dota 2 matches and collecting tokens that will open new areas and rewards. Kez and Skywrath have their own special tokens required to finish the map and unlock bonuses.

New Tower Skins: Scree’Auk and Avilliva

With the purchase of the latest Skywrath Pathfinder Pack, players gain access to two exclusive tower skins: Scree’Auk and Avilliva. These tower skins are accompanied by extra missions, giving players a chance to obtain unique Immortals for Batrider and Bloodseeker, which look great and are fun to play with.

Other Crownfall Act IV Rewards

The update of Act IV also reveals the Crownfall Act IV Board that offers even more mini-games and items. Players can get treasures from the Crownfall Collector’s Cache and Crownfall Collector’s Cache II, as well as character stickers from the Snake Charmer in Shen’s quest.

Extended Event Date: Play Until January 15, 2025

Originally planned for October, Valve has decided to prolong Crownfall until January 15, 2025. Players have more than two months to play the content-rich update and enjoy all the features that Crownfall has to offer. But don’t wait too long—this is one of the most expansive events in Dota 2 history, and unlocking everything will take a lot of time.
