Rebels Gaming, an esports organization owned by Spanish footballer David De Gea, has partnered with Longford International College (LIC) to launch a new esports diploma course.
Rebels Gaming will support LIC on the new fully online ‘Business of Esports’ course, which will last for six weeks and cost £350.
The course is co-developed with Rebels Gaming and will provide students with an introduction to esports business, marketing and sponsorships, team management, analytics, and data management. LIC and Rebels Gaming created the course to provide an introduction to the esports industry for people who want to learn more about it.
The Longford International College is an educational institution founded in 2020 that focuses on courses related to sports and business. The college offers a range of courses, including sports agent courses, management, and esports. David De Gea, the owner of Rebels Gaming, commented that the esports industry offers many opportunities for people who are passionate about it and that he is excited to share his knowledge and experience to help new generations turn their passion into a career.
