Cloud9 Advances to Brazy Party Finals after Defeating OG in Semifinals

Cloud9 secured their spot in the finals of Brazy Party after defeating OG in the semifinals.

They will face Astralis in the grand final on Wednesday at 21:00.

Both teams missed out on qualifying for the BLAST.tv Paris Major, so this match is incredibly important for their ranking points.

The semi-final match between Cloud9 and OG featured a lengthy pause and a pair of disastrously squandered rounds, spanning over four hours. Cloud9 battled back on their map pick, Overpass, after OG took the early lead on their Inferno pick. Although OG pushed the map to overtime, Cloud9 ultimately secured a 19-16 victory. In the final map, Ancient, Cloud9 started off struggling but came back with a dominant performance to win 19-16 and extend their undefeated streak over OG to 3-0 in matches and 6-1 in maps overall.
