Brazy Party Kicks Off with $333,000 Prize Pool: All You Need to Know

The Brazy Party is a seven-day, online Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament with a $333,000 prize pool, set to start on Wednesday, April 26.

The top 16 teams in the world, with most of them currently ranked in the top 30, will be split into four groups to compete in a best-of-three GSL format. The tournament will serve as official practice for the upcoming BLAST.tv Paris Major, which runs from May 8-21.

Cloud9, ranked sixth in the world, comes into the event as the highest-rated team and will be joined by the addition of Guy “NertZ” Iluz in February. They will be desperate to perform after losing a spot in the BLAST.tv Paris Major and missing out on a place in the IEM Rio grand final.

ENCE, on the other hand, has a renewed sense of confidence after the addition of NertZ, averaging a team-high 1.22 rating over 23 maps, securing a BLAST.tv Paris Major berth and a 3rd-4th place finish at ESL Pro League Season 17.

The event will consist of a single-elimination, best-of-three playoff stage, leading up to the grand final on May 3. The tournament will serve as an opportunity for OG, paiN, GamerLegion, and 9INE to work their way up to peak form ahead of the BLAST.tv Paris Major.

The event will feature a full talent lineup, with the prize pool distribution to be allocated to the top eight finishers.

The winner will take home $133,000, while the teams in third and fourth place will receive $35,000 each, and the remaining four teams will receive $15,000 each.
