The Indonesian-based organization, which recently expanded its focus to the South American region, has made a strategic decision to part ways with the team following a series of challenging competitions.

In a tweet, BOOM Esports acknowledged the conclusion of the trial period, expressing gratitude to the players for their dedication and hard work.
The roster, featuring Christian “Pakazs” Savina, Jordan “SLATEM$” Vega, Rafael “Sacred” Yonatan, Farith “Matthew” Puente, and Romel “Mjz” Quinteros Rojas, had formed a promising lineup with ties to renowned teams like Evil Geniuses and Thunder Awaken.
The team, coached by former Evil Geniuses coach Gor “kaffs” Furtado, debuted at the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023: South America Closed Qualifiers.
Despite showing resilience with a victory against BocaJuniors, they faced elimination by Keyd Stars. The Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show also proved challenging, with the team unable to secure a win in their group stage matches, leading to an early exit with a 17th-20th standing.
The disbandment of the South American roster marks a pivotal moment for BOOM Esports as it reassesses its strategic direction in the competitive world of Dota 2.
