Southeast Asian organization Bleed Esports has enlisted the expertise of Rasmus “MISERY” Filipsen, one of Dota’s most seasoned veterans, as their new head coach.
Following the departure of Lee “Forev” Sang-don, MISERY will take on the role of coach for Bleed Esports, bringing with him an impressive 15 years of experience in the Dota scene. His most recent coaching stint was with North American organization TSM.
While Bleed Esports had high hopes after assembling a roster of experienced and talented players, their performance has been underwhelming thus far. The team finished in sixth place in both Tours of the Dota Pro Circuit, resulting in losing records and failing to qualify for any of the Majors.
Despite their struggles, Bleed Esports remains in Division 1 but faces an arduous journey to secure direct qualification to The International 12. With zero points in the 2023 DPC and a requirement of 1325 points to secure a spot, the team will need an exceptional winning streak to have a chance at earning their ticket to the event.
While the task ahead is challenging, the experienced squad will aim to turn their fortunes around and strive for success in upcoming tournaments.
