BLAST Slam 2024 Dota 2: Format and Team Structure
The BLAST Slam 2024 will start on November 26, with 10 top teams divided into two groups of five. The group stage is played in a “King of the Hill” format, where teams play in a best-of-one round robin.
- No team will be knocked out during this phase.
- Group standings determine their starting positions in a single-elimination bracket.
Playoff Positions
The starting positions are determined as follows:
- The winners of the groups are promoted to the semifinals.
- Second place teams start in the quarterfinals.
- Third place teams qualify for the playoffs in the second round.
- Fourth and fifth place teams begin in the first playoff round.
Playoff matches are best-of-three, while the grand final is a best-of-five series.
