Esports organizer BLAST has entered into a comprehensive multi-year global partnership with esports betting platform Unikrn. This far-reaching agreement will see Unikrn collaborate with both BLAST Premier and BLAST.tv Paris Major, the final CS:GO major event.
The partnership includes various joint endeavors such as broadcast integrations, social giveaways, physical and digital branding during BLAST Premier and the Major, and other fan-focused initiatives. One broadcast integration will feature Unikrn in the ‘BLAST Picks’ segment, where the organizer’s team predicts match winners. Additionally, Unikrn’s branding will appear on BLAST.tv PickEms, a challenge for the CS:GO community to make their own match predictions.
Through this alliance, Unikrn aims to broaden its global reach and potentially enter new regions. After relaunching in Brazil and parts of Canada in December 2022, Unikrn strengthened its commercial portfolio by partnering with Team Liquid in February. Sports-betting group Entain acquired Unikrn for £50m in August 2021.
Apart from CS:GO, BLAST has expanded its operations in 2023, partnering with Rainbow Six Siege and Fortnite for their respective competitive ecosystems. Unikrn CEO Justin Dellario expressed excitement about partnering with BLAST and offering world-class insights and betting opportunities to its vast fanbase.
