B8 has made the decision to bench Alexey “alex666” Yarmoshchuk after the Ukrainian player’s underwhelming performance at the RMR.
The 21-year-old had been part of B8’s starting roster since August 2022, but after the team’s loss to Cloud9 in the RMR, B8 has decided to make a change. This was a disappointment for the young Ukrainian squad, who began the tournament with an impressive 2-0 record, only to fall short with a 2-3 record.
Now, B8 must find a replacement for Alex666 ahead of the CCT South Europe Series 4, which starts on Sunday, April 23.
“We are sad to announce that alex666 will be leaving our team. We’ve had an amazing run with him, passing through the RMR twice in a row. However, we have to split apart. alex666 will now be transitioning to a bench player status and will be actively seeking new opportunities”.
The team is also currently in the ESL Challenger League Season 45 lower bracket, where they will face LDLC after their opening round defeat to Falcons.
B8’s current roster includes
- Arseniy “cptkurtka023” Derevinskiy
- Artem “r1nkle” Moroz
- Denis “amster” Liashenko
- Mykhailo “OWNER” Lymar
- Ivan “maddened” Iordanidi (coach)
With the addition of a new player, B8 will hope to improve their performance in upcoming tournaments.
