Jani “Aerial” Jussila, a player for HAVU, will be stepping back from active competition due to sleeping issues, the Finnish organization announced on Twitter.
As a result, Olli “sLowi” Pitkänen will be filling in for Aerial as HAVU’s stand-in.
sLowi returns to the team after previously being a long-term member from 2018 to 2022. He recently played for Aleksi “allu” Jalli’s JANO lineup and performed exceptionally well with a 1.04 rating.
Aerial had been a part of HAVU for over two years, joining the organization in early 2021 after transferring from ENCE. He has been a consistent and reliable player for the team, maintaining a solid 1.09 rating across 459 maps. Aerial also showcased his skills at Elisa Masters Espoo in 2022, where he achieved a team-high 0.98 rating.
Despite Aerial’s strong performances, HAVU faced challenges in qualifying for tournaments, including failing to secure a spot in the BLAST.tv Paris Major RMRs. This led to roster changes and instability within the team.
HAVU will continue their competitive journey with sLowi joining the roster on May 24 in the Elisa Invitational Spring 2023, where they currently hold a 1-1 record.
In a statement, the Finnish organization expressed their support for Aerial’s decision and wished him the best. Aerial himself explained that his sleep problems have made it difficult to succeed in professional CS:GO and that he will not actively seek a new team until he resolves these issues.
HAVU’s current roster includes:

- Otto “ottoNd” Sihvo
- Jussi “Airax” Airaksinen
- Olli “sLowi” Pitkänen as a stand-in
