9INE Achieves Remarkable Run to Secure Legends Stage Spot at Paris Major

9INE, a Polish roster, has accomplished an astonishing run to secure their place in the Legends Stage of the BLAST.tv Paris Major, marking the first time a Polish team has achieved this feat since Virtus.pro’s attendance at the FACEIT London Major in 2018.

The team completed the Europe RMR B LAN in Copenhagen, Denmark, with an impressive 3-0 record, earning their spot in the Legends Stage alongside top teams such as Natus Vincere, Heroic, and FURIA.

Before the RMR began, Olek “hades” Miskiewicz told: “We want to play some good Counter-Strike and will take it one game at a time and see how it goes without putting too much pressure on ourselves.”

Given their successful run, it’s clear that 9INE has achieved their goals, skipping the opening Challengers Stage and securing a top-16 showing at CS:GO’s final Major.

Entering the RMR as the fourth-lowest-rated team and ranked 11th on HLTV’s power ranking, 9INE secured hard-fought victories against G2 (16-14) and BIG (19-15) before facing off against Vitality in a best-of-three series for a Legends Stage berth. The Poles began the series on a high note, achieving a 9-6 lead on Vertigo and ultimately winning the map 16-11. They maintained their momentum on Anubis, holding Vitality to a narrow one-round lead at the break and ultimately securing another 16-11 victory to clinch their place in the BLAST.tv Paris Major Legends Stage.

With this win, 9INE joins teams like Ukraine’s Natus Vincere, Europe’s fnatic, the United Kingdom’s Into the Breach, Kosovo’s Bad News Eagles, Brazil’s FURIA, and Denmark’s Heroic in the Legends Stage, while teams such as OG, MOUZ, GamerLegion, Grayhound, Apeks, TheMongolz, paiN, Complexity, Liquid, and Fluxo will compete in the Challengers Stage.
