500 have decided to bench Georgi “SHiPZ” Grigorov, replacing him with their coach Denis “Grashog” Hristov. This change follows their recent failure to qualify for the BLAST Paris Major via the Europe RMR B.
According to their announcement, it seems that Grashog will be filling in temporarily while they evaluate their options, indicating that this may not be a permanent move.
SHiPZ joined 500 after the ex-SKADE roster was acquired by the organization in October 2022. The team had a strong start, winning back-to-back EPIC GOCL seasons and reaching the playoffs at Elisa Masters Espoo. However, their inconsistency began to show, and they failed to find their footing throughout early 2023.
Despite managing to qualify for the BLAST Paris Major Europe RMR B, 500 has struggled with form, leading to their recent relegation from ESL Challenger League to ESEA Advanced. SHiPZ took to Twitter to wish the team well and directed interested parties to his agent.
